Support You Need For Your Unique Journey
Can food preparation help you?
Having worked with many families where both parents are working individuals, food, a vital aspect to a little ones growth and life, can be both time and energy consuming. This is why I offer food preparation services to take this stress off of your family, so that you are able to spend more quality time with your children, rather than spending time thinking, buying, preparing, and serving nutritious food.
I bring in different cuisines with my cooking, and every family I have worked with appreciates the fact that meals are balanced and have a variety of flavours and ingredients. I have worked hard to curate my meals that consist of only the highest quality, organic and freshest of ingredients.
Every week, a menu of curated meals will be available. I cook meals that can be served to a family, to infants of all ages too, but if you would prefer another quantity, this can be arranged. All my meals can be frozen on the day of delivery, for you to use later in the week or the next.
Should you also be in the period of weaning, I am able to create a weaning guide, along with the meals to provide for your growing baby.
Everything will be hand delivered on a Sunday (including snacks available to buy below), but should you need delivery at another time, please contact me first before placing an order.

Why Have an Asian Style Diet?
Lots of pregnant women have crazy cravings during their pregnancy, and maintaining a healthy diet throughout that journey is important, but what you eat after giving birth is equally as important. Coming from an Asian background myself, there are many foods that are generally promoted to stay away from during the postpartum period, and to start, these include a) no raw food, b) no cold food and c) no fried, salty, sugary, spicy foods.
NO RAW FOODS.
Fresh vegetables and fruits are important for our body to keep everything moving smoothly, which is especially vital after giving birth. Despite this, raw foods are a lot harsher on our digestive systems, and when your body is already in a state of healing, it’s best to avoid these foods. My menus will take this into account, but of course, if you want to eat fruit too that is entirely up to you! But, take them out of the fridge first to let them come up to room temperature before eating.
NO COLD FOODS.
Just like the above, cold and chilled foods is one of the most followed rules amongst Asian women when it comes to postpartum healing. This includes drinks like cold soft drinks or juices, and ice cream! These are avoided not because of their nutritional content, but because they are simply just too cold. It’s argued that anything cold will stop your body from healing because your internal heat will decline.
AVOID SPICY, FRIED, AND SALTY FOODS.
This is purely because these types of foods are harder to digest, and the whole idea for postpartum recovery is to instil the notion of balance back into your life. Of course, you can have things in moderation, and be mindful.
Along with these 3 main practices of Asian postpartum healing, common practices such as avoiding alcohol, opting for digestible proteins and grains, and having a diet that is high in water content. With all the food options that I give, the aforementioned along with organic, highly sourced products, are used to give you and your baby the best possible start after birth.
If you have any allergies or dietary preferences, these can also be catered to.
